Gateway Youth Company

Gateway Youth Dance Company (GYDC) works with highly experienced professional dancers and teachers to enable our young dancers aged 11-18 years to explore and achieve their full potential in both performance and choreography.

Weekly classes take place on Tuesdays from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm.

Membership/Tuition fees: £14 per week required for the term upfront.

A free trial is available for your first class.

Dancers will:

• Take a weekly class in Contemporary technique and creativity 

• Present performance works locally, regionally and nationally.

• Receive tuition from a range of guest artists in a variety of dance forms.

• Gain an understanding of dance practice, its diverse influences and origins.

• Dance Theatre

• Explore the use of music in a dance environment.

• Attend Easter and Summer Intensive weeks with guest teachers.
